If your pet is able to penetrate through the thick outer layers and reach the red core, it means that the integrity of the product has been compromised. At that point, you can return the GoughNuts toy to the manufacturer for a replacement.

Sizing

When selecting the appropriate size for your pet, make sure to choose a size that is larger than their mouth. Please be certain the chew toy is larger in size than the distance between your dogs back molars when measuring across their jaw.

GoughNuts MaXX 50 Stick

For only the most powerful and aggressive of chewers, the GoughNuts MaXX 50 Stick is our most durable chew toy. Like all GoughNuts products, included is the patented GoughNuts safety indicator, where “Black/Green” means GO, but “Red” means STOP. Even though this is the most rugged toy we offer, in the rare case your pet is still able to chew all the way through to the red inner core, you should remove the toy and return it to the manufacturer for a free replacement. The MaXX 50 Stick is also larger than most of the other GoughNuts products, so please make sure it is appropriate for your pet.

The MaXX 50 stick is a great choice for an afternoon game of fetch, but please note that due to the special materials it contains, it DOES NOT float. It is highly recommended that you only purchase this product if you have a pet that is an extreme chewer who has been able to chew through one of our other MaXX Sticks, or our original Black or Green Rings.
