We are a top tier dog products company concerned with choosing safe, healthy, quality products for the highly loved doggy members of your family and ours.  

Why We Are Different

We take the time to research our products from the materials which make up the product to the people and places and methods used to manufacture it. If possible, we try to source our products from the USA. We believe strongly in keeping jobs here in the USA by supporting local manufacturers. We strive to provide safe, wholesome, dog toys and treats.

We also believe an online store should be fun and rewarding. We hope you will participate in our dog video contests, suggest a product page, customer loyalty rewards program, email newsletter, and social media pages.  

Our Story

Puppy Palace was founded in 2009 in response to the lack of quality pet treats in the big box pet stores. I wanted to buy natural, wholesome, and human grade quality treats for my dog Bilbo, but my choices were limited and were mixed in with traditional dog treats. I spent quite a lot of time in the stores reading package ingredient lists. It was frustrating and time consuming.

I was dismayed to learn that many pet toys and treats are made in China which has a poor safety record when it comes to pet products.

In 2007, an estimated 3,000-8,000 animals were sickened and/or died in the USA due to Chinese melamine and cyanuric acid laced wheat gluten and rice protein which was added to over 60 million containers of pet food in the United States. The FDA determined the Chinese suppliers purposely added these dangerous contaminants to boost the apparent protein levels in the pet food.

Additionally, the FDA has issued official warnings (2007, 2008, 2011, 2012) about possibly contaminated Chinese made chicken, duck, and sweet potato jerky treats that have sickened an estimated 2,000 pets and caused at least 360 documented pet deaths.

This drove me to find alternative products for my own beloved dog Bilbo and to found my company for other pet owners searching for quality products.
